Mandate approaching

The July 2027
E-Invoicing Mandate

The UAE Ministry of Finance is enforcing a mandatory B2B e-invoicing framework. Businesses must restructure their billing pipelines to integrate directly with FTA systems.

  • System readiness assessment & transition planning
  • Compliant bookkeeping protocols established today
  • Future-proofed financial architecture
Build my DPTC plan

July 2027 is the go-live for businesses under AED 50 million. At AED 50 million or more you go live on and must appoint an Accredited Service Provider by .

How e-invoicing will work: DPTC generates the invoice from your
system; an Accredited Service Provider validates, enriches and
transmits it; the FTA's UAE E-Invoicing platform receives,
validates and confirms it; and the buyer receives the e-invoice
               directly.

Questions

The things people actually ask us.

Working with us

How does the digital portal work?

After scoping your requirements, you receive secure access to our platform. You upload necessary financial documents logically mapped to your needs. The portal tracks completion, meaning no more guessing if you've sent everything we need.

Do I still get to speak with a tax professional?

Absolutely. The digital portal handles document collection and process tracking. The actual analysis, advisory, and execution are handled by our human experts. You can always schedule a consultation when strategic insight is needed.

We already have an accountant. Why would we move?

Often you should not. If your books are clean, your filings are on time and someone qualified is signing them, you are fine.

Clients move to us for the workflow and the accuracy of it. One place to upload what is needed, so nothing is chased twice. Every figure checked and signed by a qualified professional before it is filed. And a position you can see at any point in the year, rather than finding out where you stand after the deadline has passed.

How quickly will someone respond?

Within one business day for form enquiries, and usually much faster on WhatsApp during office hours (Sunday to Thursday is not our week — we work Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 18:00 GST).

If you have received a notice with a deadline on it, say so in your message and we will move it to the front.

Fees

Are fees genuinely fixed upfront?

Yes. Once we establish the scope of work based on your entity's complexity and requirements, we provide a fixed fee. We do not bill by the hour for standard compliance work, ensuring complete financial predictability for your business.

Compliance

Is my tax return actually reviewed by a person?

Yes — every one. Our systems prepare the return and flag anything unusual, but a qualified professional reviews it and signs it before it is filed. Nothing is auto-filed.

Where a judgement call is needed — a treatment that could reasonably go two ways — it is escalated to a director rather than decided by software. You are told what we decided and why.

Where is my financial data stored?

Two different things, so two answers.

This website is served from a global content delivery network, so the pages themselves are distributed internationally. It holds no client financial data — only what you choose to type into the enquiry form.

The client portal, where your financial data will live, is a separate system. We will confirm its hosting region and our data processing terms in writing before you sign anything, and we would rather tell you that now than let you assume something we have not committed to.

You can export your full history at any time, in a standard format, without asking us first. You are not locked in.

We are behind on our books. Is that a problem?

No — it is how most clients arrive. Being behind is a bookkeeping problem, and bookkeeping problems are fixable. What turns it into a tax problem is waiting until the authority asks.

We rebuild historic years, work out what your real exposure is, and file a voluntary disclosure if one is needed. Coming forward voluntarily is almost always cheaper than being found.

E-invoicing

What does mandatory e-invoicing mean for us?

The UAE is phasing in mandatory e-invoicing. In-scope businesses must issue invoices in a set structured format (PINT-AE) and send them through an Accredited Service Provider — you cannot simply email a PDF any more.

Who it applies to. Every person conducting business in the UAE, for B2B and B2G transactions, whether or not you are VAT-registered. Sales to consumers (B2C) are excluded for now. There are limited carve-outs, including sovereign government activity, certain international airline services and some exempt financial services.

The dates. Two deadlines apply to you, and the first is the one that bites:

  • Revenue of AED 50 million or more — appoint an ASP by , live from .
  • Revenue under AED 50 million — appoint an ASP by , live from .
  • Government entities — appoint an ASP by , live from .
When should I prepare for the UAE E-Invoicing mandate?

The mandate officially takes effect in July 2027, but preparation must begin much earlier. IT systems, accounting software, and internal workflows require significant lead time to adapt. We advise assessing your readiness over the next 12 months.

The mandate is phased. July 2027 is the go-live for businesses under AED 50 million. If your revenue is AED 50 million or more, you go live on and must appoint an Accredited Service Provider by . See the full timeline.
